Aeration System

To control the temperature and humidity of the grains stored in the silos, aeration system is necessary. To prevent damage to the grain caused by the increase in temperature and humidity, ventilation is required. This operation is done by the aeration fan mounted at the bottom of the silo. The body of the aeration fans are made of high quality galvanized steel sheets with a long life and very resistant to corrosion. All parts of the body are connected to each other by nuts and bolts. Exhaust air flow rate and pressure and electric power technology is calculated based on the capacity, height and type of grain stored in the silo.

To control the temperature and humidity of the grains stored in the Grain Silo, aeration system is necessary. In these silos centrifugal fans are used to distribute the air inside the silos. Flatt Bottom Silo foundation must have air channels so that the air created by the fans are entered through these channels and then transferred to the silo.Required number of fans, fan exhaust, air flow rate and pressure, is based on the capacity, height and type of grain to be stored in the silo.
